Kaitlyn + Harbor | Destin Wedding

We love Kaitlyn & Harbor.  Not only are they two of the sweetest, most genuine people you'll ever meet (and hopelessly in love!), they also hold a special place in our hearts, as they're part of our awesome Shoreline Church family here in Destin.  Needless to say, we were beyond thrilled to be a part of their beautiful and super-fun Destin Bay House wedding, chock full of some pretty adorable details!

We are beyond thrilled to show off the gorgeous photos from Sarah Ashley Peters . . . and the bonus stop motion film she captured blew us away!  We loved everything about Kaitlyn & Harbor's wedding, and we couldn't have pulled it off without our talented team of wedding friends.  Especially awesome was one of our favorite Destin wedding caterers, Bijoux Catering, who wowed everyone with their amazing menu (as usual!).

It's hard to believe Kaitlyn & Harbor just celebrated their one-year anniversary - and that we were a part of the celebration that started it all!  Cheers to two wonderful people!

Sharona + Alan | Destin Beach Wedding

Sharona & Alan live in England, but since this sweet bride is originally from the States, they decided an intimate Destin beach wedding with their closest friends and family would be the perfect way to celebrate their love.  Alan is from Scotland, so donning a kilt on wedding day couldn't have been more appropriate.  We absolutely loved getting to know Sharona and Alan (even if it was through lots of fun emails given our crazy time zone differences)! Their Henderson State Park beach wedding ceremony took place under one of RSVP's gorgeously simple arbors.  Immediately following their vows, they moved to the nearby pavilion where their guests were treated to an intimate, family-style dinner reception, complete with a whole lot of pretty thrown in the mix with our wedding rentals and decor.

Bijoux Catering created a custom "Southern Comfort" menu consisting of things like pecan crusted chicken, shrimp and grits, a mixed salad of watermelon, feta and tomato, garlic mashed potatoes, haricot verts, and an assortment of homemade breads.  As if that isn't enough awesomeness, our friends at KaraBoo Bakery provided the adorable and equally delicious salted caramel cupcakes.  (It's good to have connections in the Destin catering and bakery businesses.)  ;)

Shaunna + Matt | Destin Bay House Wedding

We spent about a year getting to know Shaunna & Matt while Christine planned their Destin wedding - and they are two of the most awesome and fun people, ever!  Hailing from St. Louis, these two are a match made in heaven, sharing a love for sports and all-things hilarious.  Matt took hilarious to a whole new level when he broke out in song during their ceremony at the Destin Bay House - a Michael Jackson song, no less - and sang to his adoring bride.  The solo didn't last long before the rest of the wedding party donned their fancy sunglasses and joined in on the serenade.  Shaunna was blown away (and clearly amused), and it truly made for a memorable moment that reflected and fit their personality as a couple to a 'T'. After the couple were officially 'Mr.' & 'Mrs., the fun continued as the wedding party ventured out onto a boat, chartered by our friends over at Destin Vacation Boat Rentals (hi, Heather & Chris!) for some photos in (yes, in) the water.  The reception followed with some amazing eats by one of our favorite Destin wedding caterers, Bijoux Catering, sweet confections from Heidi at Bake My Day, and some worn-out dancing shoes, thanks to Sam Blowes, our DJ.
